Last night I almost forgot to shut the oven off before I came to bed. I got all the way upstairs, laid down, and finally remembered by the time I just about drifted to sleep. I firmly believe that forgetfulness is a sign of old age and that makes me rather worried because I’m only in my mid-forties. Furthermore, if it were just the one oven incident I would not be worrying so much but it has happened multiple times in the last month. I forgot to close the garage door a couple of weeks ago and a Raccoon got in and destroyed the majority of our pool furniture. The other night I came inside and remembered that I had left all the groceries from the store just sitting out in the car. However, I am starting to see a bright spot in all this forgetfulness, a good friend of mine sent me an email telling me about memory exercises people can do in order to restore memory and he also told me about Directv. Hopefully, I don’t leave the oven on again and burn the entire house down.
